Another running year of our life is tending to its end - a moment for reflection of the great music to Year's end in Leipzig.
Prof.Kurt Masur † (former conductor of the Gewandhaus) estimates Beethoven's oeuvre even higher than J.S.Bach's one. Drawing this comparison is only allowed to some artists in Leipzig ! - uncomparable remains L. v. Beethoven'ss 9th symphony with the final chorus "Ode an die Freude", F.Schiller.
